This season 2011-2012, we are very proud to boast that Tri County Elite Cheer and Dance is celebrating its 19th year serving the lowcountry. Yes! That’s right. Since 1992, we’ve been molding athletes of all ages into champions both on and off the competition floor. Only a handful of programs in our industry have been around as long as we have and none in the tri-county area. Our organization believes that anyone who wants to chase the dream of becoming a cheerleader or dancer can do so with dedication and desire. Every athlete, no matter what their experience, even the so-called “best”, can always be better. At the same time, we’ve also instilled in our athletes that no one person regardless of how talented they are is above the team.
Tri County Elite was started as a spin off the Sertoma B league Cowboys and then became part of the Summerville YMCA cheering as the Chiefs from fall of 1994 to 1996 and then became Tri County All Stars. We changed our name to Tri County Elite about several years ago due to a new team that started with the same initials. We are proud of our service to the youth of our area and our efforts to have them be well rounded citizens as well as excellent athletes. We make our own champions and are willing to give anyone the opportunity to chase a dream. Tri County Elite is more than just a competitive cheer and dance organization but a true family!
Our founder, Gigi Pieretti believes that each member must participate in community service and maintain a good scholastic average. Involvement in school activities is also encouraged!
